Volunteers are at the very heart of everything we do at Mental Health Innovations and we’re proud to offer a range of digital volunteering opportunities for young people and adults.

Volunteering for one of our services, Shout or The Mix, will give you invaluable knowledge and skills. You will not only support people who urgently need help with their mental health and wellbeing, but you will also be able to support friends, family and colleagues and further the development of your own education or career.

To help children, young people and adults across the UK who need vital support, find out more and apply below:

Why volunteer with Mental Health Innovations?

At Shout, nearly 17,000 people have completed our training, learnt valuable life skills and helped to take over 3 million text conversations with one million people who were anxious, low or suicidal and needed urgent support.

At The Mix, volunteers are helping to make a direct difference to the lives of the young people using our services.

"It's given me a greater respect for others, it serves as a daily reminder to me that you never know what someone is going through so to always be kind, it's helped me to be calmer in the face of real crisis and given me a deeper perspective. It's helped me in my personal and professional relationships and helped my confidence."
