Our people
We have a dedicated security team of certified professionals and a dedicated Data Protection Officer. Mental Health Innovations is bolstered by external security professionals, who provide advice on an ongoing basis, and validate the measures we have in place.
We have a strong focus on security culture amongst staff with regular security awareness training.
Information Security Management System (ISMS)
We are ISO 27001 certified, which is an internationally recognised standard specifying security management best practices and comprehensive security controls (ISO 27001). We systematically evaluate and manage risk, taking into account threats and vulnerabilities. MHI is audited at least annually to demonstrate compliance. We are committed to adapting and continuous improvement of information security.
We have designed and continue to develop a set of controls, which includes:
- Using National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) recommendations for securing accounts and access.
- Hardened systems and devices.
- Use of secure storage, encryption and anonymisation.
- Strict controls on how we work with suppliers, external organisations and individuals.
